The Throwing Class

This session is geared towards someone who wants to get to grips with the wheel and have an understanding of the basics of centering, coning and pulling up. It will focus on the positioning of your body to make lighter work of throwing and by repeating the process with a tutor opposite you can advance your wheel skills much quicker than doing it alone. You will end up with a maximum of 10 pots.

The class can be taken as a one off, or you can opt to come back for another 2 hour group session for £30. This is held on a Saturday morning (11-1pm) and you will learn how to turn (trim) the bottom of your pots. You will receive an email allowing you to book this session the day after your throwing session.

An additional session/sessions to glaze your pots can also be booked in on a Saturday morning at 11-1pm for £30. You will receive an email 2 weeks after your turning session to book your glazing session or you can book a collection slot and take them home unglazed.
